Sudan records over 2,500 cases of dengue fever: Ministry
Sudan has recorded 2,520 dengue fever cases, including 13 deaths, in five states, its Health Ministry announced in a statement.
A total of 198 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the country during the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said on Thursday.
The total Covid cases reported in the country so far rose to 4,50,24,548 with the addition of the new cases. It includes the JN.1 Covid variant cases. Out of these cases, Karnataka reported 67 cases, followed by Maharashtra 59 and West Bengal 18.
The national capital reported eight cases.

According to the data, one more succumbed to the disease, pushing the death toll to 5,33,442. It was reported from Punjab.
On the other hand, the recovery tally rose to 4,44,89,342 as 319.
The active cases in the country stand at 1,764.
